Where will this new found freedom take us I am not sure. At the moment I have many more questions for Alex and the other Systema instructors I already met. I also would like to look visit other Russian schools and continue my own exploration of related topics. As for our group this year we started to explore Systema through a series of modules. This process looks like it will take over a year to continue. At the end of this some of the more experienced students will be asked if they want to take an instructors test. At the moment I am not sure of the format for this yet, but by this stage they will already have completed a number of challenges including the tutoring of a new student to Systema within our class.
All of the lessons attended by the new instructors will be recorded along with any tests taken so that there is some form of audit trail and ultimately I would hope they would go onto to visit Russian Instructors and further their own studies in whatever way they desire. Who knows they might if they might even choose to open up their own groups and further spread their own interpretation Systema. Only time will tell……
