Notice how your attackers posture is contorted by your movements and where it leans on you drawing support. Relax and move your body so that it takes away the support from your attacker. Use your legs, hands or body to further manipulate his posture and the tension in his body. Often applying the weight of your own legs will be sufficient to cause him to fall to the floor. The most important thing is to escape. If your mind set is to defeat your attacker you are going to get mentally tied up in him. This will prevent you from recognizing other threats or opportunities that the situation presents to you.

The approach of the system is not to prevent the kick making contact with your body. The more kicks thrown at you the more likely one of them is going to make contact. With training we can learn to limit the damage these kicks do to us and utilize the opportunities that they present to subdue the threat the attacker poses.
